- ‘Design Film Trilogy’ limited-edition box set of all three Gary Hustwit directed documentary films (Helvetica/Objectified & Urbanized). The set consists of a cloth-bound slip-case, 3 disc-tray and 72 page signed book. The hardback book contains essays by Steven Heller and director Gary Hustwit, with behind-the-scenes photography of all three films. We devised a system of abbreviating each film (He-Helvetica/Ob-Objectified/Ur-Urbanized) giving the box set an individual identity in of itself. This marks the end of a great relationship with Gary and the studio, which started with Michael (Build’s Creative Director) being asked to be in Gary’s first documentary film ‘Helvetica’ (2007), then being asked to design identities/packaging for his next two films ‘Objectified’ (2009) & ‘Urbanized’ (2011).

- Print campaign for printers Generation Press. The East Sussex-based printers had invested in a new state of the art B2 Komori press and wanted a promotional campaign to tell their customers about their ability to take on not only bigger jobs, but making them more capable and competitive in a tough market than ever before. We shot 4 striking images with Jason Tozer (styling by Katy Ingram, w/appearance(s) by Build designer Joe Luxton), involving snooker-playing fencers, a beekeeper, remote-controlled galleon w/paddling pool and a set of twins (+ skull). These were then used as direct mail teaser cards, B2 puzzle mail-outs and a bespoke fold-out brochure (w/custom envelope). Copywriting by Nicky Place/Build.

- Identity, film poster, Blu-ray & DVD packaging for Gary Hustwit’s last film in the design film trilogy ‘Urbanized’. We created a series of graphic pictograms using 4 themes from the film, Housing/Mobility/Public Spaces & Infrastructure. These pictograms became the foundation for creating a strong visual look over all aspects of the films branding including the film poster and packaging.

- Website design for the London-based architectural practice Studio Octopi. The site features a custom CMS giving Octopi full control over adding and amending content, adding new sections and colour-coding panels. Thirteen localised versions of the Dalton Maag designed Nokia Pure font that may inspire you to learn a new language, or to discover places, both near and far. - Promotional newspaper for New York-based über-photographer Timothy Saccenti. Tim wanted a printed piece showcasing his stills photography that he could send out to prospective clients. We proposed a beautifully designed newspaper format with a print-eractive belly-band. Cast-coated gloss cover with a delicate 48gsm newsprint inner. Printed by the ever-brilliant Generation Press.

- Custom tube-mailer and promo art print for Generation Press as part of our series of ongoing branding work for the Brighton-based printer. GP required a sturdy mailer for posting out proofs and posters. We also designed a ltd edition B2 art print to give out to their customers. The poster itself is designed to show off the printers craft, and their new B2 press.
